Our Story
The history and heart of Xi Gamma Sigma Alumnae Chapter

Chartered December 16, 2023
On December 16, 2023, the Xi Gamma Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, was chartered by eleven xenacious women committed to promoting change, upholding high standards, and increasing community visibility. Affectionately known as “XenXi,” our chapter serves the Summerville and Ridgeville areas of South Carolina within the Sophisticated Southeast Region.
Our chapter was created to improve the quality of life for women and their families through community service, civic engagement, and social action. Our goals focus on advancing education, promoting healthcare awareness, and fostering leadership development both locally and globally.
XenXi is dedicated to building meaningful relationships within the Divine Nine (D9) and cultivating a genuine sisterhood rooted in unity and mutual support. We remain committed to conducting sorority business with excellence — prioritizing financial stability and membership growth while embracing authenticity and purpose.
What distinguishes XenXi is our commitment to impactful initiatives that address educational, civic, and economic challenges within the community — partnerships and programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Operation Bookbag, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and our signature “Laundry Community Event.”
Since chartering, Xi Gamma Sigma has grown into a thriving chapter of dedicated members united in advancing the mission of “One Sigma.” This is only the beginning — there is much more to come.
